Overnight trip in Fayoum from Cairo

OVERNIGHT TRIP TO  fAYOUM, WADI RAYAN, WADI HITAN FROM CAIRO
Day # 1 ) Cairo - Fayoum - Wadi El Hitan
Pick you up from your hotel in Cairo to start safari adventutre trip, travel to El Fayoum from Cairo, one hour in jeep, in EL Fayoum stopping en route to visit the pharonic temple of Qasr Karoun. then lunch on Karoun lake in El Fayoum, After lunch, head to the fascinating and remote UNESCO World Heritage sight at Wadi El Hitan or “Whale Valley”, with its abundance of fossilised whale skeletons. Discovered just over one hundred years ago, it is the most important site in the world to demonstrate the evolution of the whales from a land to a marine existence. Dinner meal will be served after the trip. Camping in Wadi El Hitan and overnight stay.

Day # 2 )  Wadi El Hitan - Wadi El Rayan - Cairo
Overnight stay in a desert camp and after breakfast drive to Wadi El Rayan, famous for its waterfalls created as a result of drainage programmes in the 1970, 0nes and beautiful scenery as you head to the pottery village of Tunis on Lake Quarun – Egypt’s largest salt water lake. Visit the pottery schools and shops founded by a Swiss potter in 1970. Enjoy a picnic lunch, and half an hour tour in small boat in Karoun lake, before returning to Cairo.
